Connaught Place is one of the busiest commercial areas of Delhi and a shopping delight for commoners. It is named after Prince Arthur, 1st Duke of Cannaught and Stratheam. The annual rent here is more than Rs. 9,000 per sq. ft. Its location and ease of connectivity, as Rajiv Chowk being the nearest metro station, attracts big corporate like banks, financial institutions, etc.
Connaught Place now ranks ahead of Mumbai’s Bandra-Kurla Complex and Nariman Point in terms of owning an office. Reports also state that CP is amongst the top ten expensive markets in the World.
